Quebeck Baptist Church was organized in 1948. That makes 2023 our 75th anniversary as a local church. The first meeting house was a log structure. A description of that original meeting house given by Sis. Helen Bennett was used for an artist's rendering which now hangs in the foyer of our church. The Matthews family was gracious to allow services to be held in their home until a suitable building could be renovated. Descendants of the Matthews family still attend QBC. The current building has been in use for many years. Improvements and additions have been made to the original building. Those include bricking of the exterior in the 1970's. A baptistry and upstairs bathrooms added in the 1980's. Dining room/fellowship hall addition in 2012. Carport added in 2013. East side sanctuary addition, and prophet's chamber added in 2016. Outdoor playground added in 2017. West side sanctuary, SS rooms, and downstairs bathroom and kitchen renovation in 2018.
The last three pastors have been Bro. Dan Horton, Bro. Tony King, and since 2001, Bro. David Bratcher.
