Quebeck Baptist Church was organized in 1948. That makes 2023 our 75th anniversary as an organized church. The church began meeting in the home of the Matthews’ family, whose descendants still attend. The first meeting house was a log structure. An artist rendering given by a description of one who attended there as a child (Sis. Helen Bennett) is displayed in our church foyer. The current building has been used for many years. Its additions include baptistry and bathrooms (1980’s), fellowship hall/dining room (2012), carport (2013), East wing sanctuary addition, and prophet’s chamber (2016), and West wing sanctuary addition, downstairs bathrooms, and kitchen renovation (2018).
The last three pastors have been Bro. Dan Horton, Bro. Tony King, and since 2001, Bro. David Bratcher.
